Cardio for fat loss
After each weights session finish off your workout with thirty minutes of cardio. When done properly, cardio can be very useful in burning fat. In order to maximize fat burning don't over exert yourself when doing cardio. At the same time don't take your workout lightly. Optimum fat burning occurs when you can barely hold a conversation while doing cardio. If your chest and lungs feel dry and start too ache, you are working too hard. If you can hold a conversation then you are not working hard enough.
Common cardio exercises include running, stationary bike, the elliptical, and the stair master. When doing a cardio session be sure to choose something that you enjoy. This ensures that you will stick with it.
For maximum fat loss be sure to be working out at 60-70 percent of your maximum heart rate. Click here to figure out your target heart rate.
Conclusion
Starting a workout plan is key to improving how we feel both physically and mentally. When you first start you may notice that your muscles will ache. This is normal, do not rush into a workout. Take it slow and your muscles will slowly adapt. The important thing is that you choose a plan that you enjoy doing. If this means just doing cardio and never stepping foot in a gym that is fine. As long as you are setting goals and reaching them.
